MacLav Ltd. invites you to join the new FREE ONLINE Functional Skills English course in the Nottingham and Derby area.

All British proficiency levels: Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3, Level 1, Level 2 with a certified exam. Group learning with a teacher takes place from home (live, via computer or phone) in the form of ZOOM videoconferencing. Options include: weekend course or weekday (evening) course.

COURSE START: End of May 2025
COURSE DURATION: 12-14 weeks (depending on the level)

Course details:

We offer all British proficiency levels: Entry 1, Entry 2, Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2 with a recognised Certificate once you have successfully passed the course.
The course is FREE and fully funded by the government.
This course is for EVERYONE (both employed and unemployed).
This course is NOT available to Student Visa holders.

You can choose to study either two evenings a week, or during both days during the weekend. Lesson times are:

Midweek course (evening): Two classes per week, from 6pm to 9pm, both days MUST be attended.
OR 10am to 1pm on a Saturday and Sunday, both days MUST be attended.
